Move a post from draft to approved and scheduled

Take a draft through second-human review to an Approved · scheduled entry with a recorded decision — approved runs finish internally and are never delivered to an external network.

Purpose

Move a draft from a schedule request through second-human approval to an Approved · scheduled entry, with a clear record of who approved it. External publishing does not exist in this release, so an approved run is executed and recorded internally only.

Who this is for

Creators and admins moving a draft to an approved, internally recorded scheduled run.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Open the draft and confirm its content and channel context.
  2. Request a schedule for the draft; this records a Pending approval entry and nothing runs yet.
  3. Ask the second human to review the entry in the Approval Queue.
  4. Have the approver record their decision; a rejected request returns the draft for edits.
  5. Confirm an approved entry shows Approved · scheduled on the calendar.
  6. Check the approval record so it is clear who approved the request and when; the approved run is executed and recorded internally, not delivered to any external network.

Expected result

The request is approved by a second human and shows Approved · scheduled, the decision is recorded, and the run finishes as Completed internally · not delivered.

Verification

If something goes wrong

The approver cannot see the request
Confirm the approver has the required role, then request the schedule again so a fresh Pending approval entry is recorded.
An entry seems to skip approval
No entry can skip the gate — every schedule request stays a Pending approval entry until a second human decides it; refresh the queue and check the audit trail for the recorded decision.
An approved run finished but nothing appeared on the social network
That is the designed behavior in this release: an approved run is executed and recorded internally and shows Completed internally · not delivered — nothing is delivered to any external network.

Permissions

Creators can request a schedule; recording an approval needs a second human with the reviewer role your workspace requires.
