Connect social accounts safely
Connect supported channels, review permissions, confirm setup status, and keep account health visible before publishing work.
Purpose
Connect supported social channels, review the permissions each connection uses, confirm setup status, and keep account health visible before you publish.
Who this is for
Workspace owners, admins, and support members connecting publishing channels.
Prerequisites
- An owner, admin, or integration role on the workspace.
- Admin access to the social account you want to connect.
- Agreement on which channels this workspace will publish to.
Steps
- Open Social Accounts from the workspace navigation.
- Choose a channel and start its guided connection.
- Review the permissions the connection will use, in plain language.
- Complete the provider authorization in the window that opens.
- Return to LumenReach and confirm the channel shows as connected.
- Check connection health and reconnect any channel that needs attention.
Expected result
Each connected channel shows a clear ready status, the permissions it uses, and a human-readable last-checked time, so you only publish through healthy connections.
Verification
- The channel appears in the connector list with a ready status.
- The permissions summary matches what you approved.
- Connection health shows no outstanding reconnect prompt.
If something goes wrong
- Authorization closes without connecting
- Confirm you used an account with admin access to the channel, then start the connection again.
- A channel shows it needs reconnecting
- Open the channel and run reconnect; permissions may have changed on the provider side.
- A channel you expect is missing
- Confirm the channel is supported on your plan and that an admin enabled it.
Permissions
Connecting and disconnecting channels needs an owner, admin, or integration role; other members can view connection health.

Support
If a channel will not connect after a reconnect, ask your workspace admin first. LumenReach support can explain provider requirements without accessing your social credentials.
