Connect LumenReach to your AI assistant
Use paid assistant/API access in read-only, approval-required, or authorized modes depending on your plan, role, and workspace consent.
Purpose
Connect an assistant or API client in read-only, approval-required, or authorized mode so it can help without ever getting broad write access by default.
Who this is for
Admins, developers, and owners connecting LumenReach to an AI assistant or API client.
Prerequisites
- A signed-in workspace session with assistant access enabled.
- An admin or developer role to manage access.
- Agreement on which mode the assistant should use.
Steps
- Open the assistant access modes in Tenant Admin.
- Choose read-only, approval-required, or authorized mode for the connection.
- Check connection readiness before relying on the access.
- Create a workspace-owned key only if the integration needs one.
- Confirm the connection appears with the mode you chose.
- Revoke the connection or key whenever it is no longer needed.
Expected result
The assistant connects in the mode you chose, with no broad write access by default, and you can check readiness and revoke at any time.
Verification
- The connection shows the access mode you selected.
- Readiness checks pass before you rely on the connection.
- Revoking access immediately stops the assistant or key.
If something goes wrong
- The assistant cannot connect
- Confirm the chosen mode and that assistant access is enabled for your role.
- An action is declined
- Read the reason; approval-required mode waits for sign-off before changes.
- You need to stop access fast
- Revoke the connection or key; access ends immediately.
Permissions
Choosing modes and creating keys needs an admin or developer role; access is workspace-owned and separate from platform controls.

If the assistant will not connect after enabling access, ask your workspace admin first. LumenReach support can help without exposing credentials or platform controls.
