Use collaboration portals for creators, brands, agencies, and guests

Invite collaborators, share messages and file details, review activity, and revoke access when a portal no longer needs to stay open.

Purpose

Run a scoped, revocable workspace with creators, brands, agencies, or guests — messages, file references, milestones — without giving outsiders broad workspace access.

Who this is for

Owners, admins, creator managers, and portal managers working with outside collaborators.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Open a collaboration portal or create a new one.
  2. Invite participants and set each one's role.
  3. Share messages and file references inside the portal.
  4. Track milestones and mark them complete as work progresses.
  5. Review the activity trail to see what happened and when.
  6. Revoke a participant's access when the portal no longer needs them.

Expected result

Collaborators work inside a scoped portal with the access they need, and you can revoke any participant at any time without affecting the rest of the workspace.

Verification

If something goes wrong

An invite is not accepted
Resend the invitation and confirm the email address is correct.
A guest sees too little or too much
Adjust their role; guest access is intentionally narrow by default.
You need to remove someone quickly
Use revoke; access ends immediately and is recorded in the activity trail.

Permissions

Managing portals and revoking access needs an owner, admin, creator-manager, or portal-manager role; guests get scoped access only.
